The Survivor’s Contestant Jennifer Lyon rests in piece

February 15, 2010 · Posted in celebrity gossip · Comment

If you are regular viewer of Survivor episodes, you must remember Jennifer Lyon, the one who had finished in fourth place on the show’s tenth season. It would be something gloomy for the fans of reality star Jennifer that she has breathed her last recently at her home in Oregon.

The 37 years old, Lyon, had appeared as contestant on Survivor: Palau, the 2005 season of Survivor. At that time she got a huge vogue and won hearts of many with her extraordinary skills that also let her to survive till last four on the show. If you missed the boat to catch the sight of graceful and talented lady, click here to download Survivor to procure all the episodes of season ten.

It has been reported that Lyon was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, at the age of 33. After diagnosis she stated that “Survivor” has taught her to face every blue situation of life darely. Her maxim was as hard as a problem, it will be over, and you have to appreciate every day.

Well, no doubt that the courageous lady possessed a valorous attitude.

While her battle with this horrible disease she underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment in order to overcome that dreadful situation. From last five years she was fighting optimistically for her life. In this great battle, her every intention was to come to blows and to swell the positive messages. Even she was a forthright campaigner for breast cancer charities.

The fellow contender of Lyon have praised her as a great fighter and caring persona. On being asked to the Survivor host, Jeff Probst about Lyon’s rep, he said, “If I learned anything from Jenn it is this: Don’t be afraid to ask someone how they are truly feeling about dying, don’t shy away from the scary parts of death. They need someone to talk to about what is going on inside their head.”

Though I was not in touch of Lyon at any personal level but still I am feeling sick at heart, as the lady has said good bye to this world at very younger age.

Anyways, it all about nature and we don’t have any power over it.

Well, just like all of you, I got electric shock too on coming across the name of the sole survivor. The Survivor TV show winner, Natalie white, has proved that the game is not all about social skills and as much as strength. From the day the show kicked off, the odd seemed stacked against the 26 years old saleswoman. But she made it at the end by upholding key affinity with the self evidenced puppet master, Russell.

I personally feel that Russell was the strongest contender of all. There was nobody on the show who could outplay him. He reached into final two with his manipulative ways but that also won him too many enemies at the jury level as well. Whereas Natalie played the social game so well that one of his key supporter, Eric, turned out and let her win the game though it was Natalie who arranged vote out for him.

Well, I am not taking anything away from Natalie, undoubtedly; the lady did a great job of reading the group dynamic of jury and for which she paid off as well. But I am really disappointed for Russell. I guess he just became victim of bitterness by the jury members otherwise the man played the game so well that nobody could defend him.

Eric’s nod for Natalie even surprised me a lot. I think he certainly helped the lady but definitely hurt the tough man. I know Eric is one among those who salutes bravery and respect guys like Russell. He would one day for sure regret this mistake of his, if he would watch the series again thoroughly once again.

Anyways friends! To win or loose is rule of nature, you just keep on watching the thrilling and sensational experience, Survivor. Watch Survivor online by clicking here and keep rocking with it.

One More Heart Broken On “Survivor”

October 31, 2009 · Posted in celebrity gossip · Comment

Reality TV show are well known for making dream come true, But it’s not for all. Very few get what they desire for on these shows, whereas rest end up broken hearted.

This is what happened with Elizabeth “Liz” Kim in the last episode of Survivor: Samoa. It was her turn this time.

Confused????

Ah! Let’s have a profound look on the news. I am talking about the last aired episode of the survivor series. In that episode, Elizabeth “Liz” Kim was eliminated and she left the show with a broken heart.

Download Survivor star – Elizabeth Kim

When she was asked about this, she said that she had an idea that she was going to be the next one. After this, when Liz was asked about Russell knocking her for insufficient social gameplay tactic, she said, “It’s hard because my strategy going into it was to be flexible and to talk less than more. It was one of those things where I was just looking forward to the merge. I didn’t have anyone to align myself with [at Foa Foa]. As far as I was concerned, I wasn’t going to make a big stink and I wasn’t going to make  a big social move because there was none to make. At least for five days we were sitting in the hut shivering because of the rain. The only person who had the confidence to make bold moves was Russell because he was empowered by the idol. It’s completely a different game if I or Mick or Jaison had the idol.”

Then she was asked about the fact that she talked a lot about Russell and now what does she thinks when he is the center of this season. In answer to this she said that she had no idea of this thing and now when she is out of the place, she is herself surprised over this. Furthermore, she also believes that he will fall soon, that too very hard. In addition, she also said that the probability of Russell’s win is just of hair’s breadth.

Aha! Seems like she has a lot of negative stuff in her mind with reference to Russell. Anyways, click here to download Survivor episodes.

Definitely, an even contest is on the cards. Scanning through the list of contestants, fans would know that there is a rocket scientist, a doctor, law students, fitness instructor, police officer etc. However, believe me there is no unity in this diversity as everyone is aiming for the highest honor of winning season 19 of Survivor television series.

Gear up for Another All Star Season of Survivor

August 5, 2009 · Posted in about show, best gossip, survivor Episode, survivor tvshow · Comment

The 10th anniversary edition of the reality show, Survivor is going to be another all-star season. If you have seen All-Star and Fans vs Favorites, then you know what I am talking about. This season will be Survivor’s 20th season marking the completion of Survivor’s 10 years on the television.

I have the list of the contestants supposed to be part of 20th season. But what’s baffling me is this leaking of list. It is too early for that coz as far as my calculations go this season which is to be shot in Samoa is not due to air until March 2010. They have already started working on it as the next two seasons are going to be shot back to back.

Coby Archa, a former contestant spilled the list consisting of 23 names. This list will be whittled down further to 20 contestants. Strangely enough, for some of contestants it will third stint with the survivors.

I’ll spill the list with my fingers crossed, hoping that it is true.

It seems that destiny is siding up with the audiences to save them the torture of another Coach-Sierra face-off sort of situations which are sure to arise when stars of previous seasons meet. Recently, a federal judge in Rhodes Island has denied Richard Hatch the permission to leave home confinement early to participate in 20th season of Survivor. In case you have forgotten, Hatch was the winner of debut season of the Survivor and was convicted in 2006 when he failed to pay taxes on $1 million he won on the show.

And that person is none other than Richard Hatch, the winner of the very first season of Survivor, which was aired in 2000. This Survivor star’s dream of making a comeback to the world of reality television has sadly been crushed.
Richard was charged and sentenced to four years imprisonment in 2005, as he had failed to pay tax on the more than $1 million prize that he’d earned as the winner of Survivor season 1 as well as his successive appearances on television. On 11th may 2009, Richard was freed from a facility in Morgantown, due to his good conduct, but he still had to remain in home confinement.

Survivor Tocantins Finale ends with surprise and excitement

June 6, 2009 · Posted in about celebrities, best gossip, survivor Episode · Comment

This season of the Survivor series in Tocantins (Brazil) has not been any less than any suspense movie. Everyone was curious to know about the final results as the show moved through various twists and turns.
The sweet guy “JT”, who has been everyone’s favorite, is the winner of the season. But it wasn’t a piece of cake for him. He went through a very tough competition throughout the show, especially in the last two immunity challenges and Stephen was not an easy man to compete with.

One thing really great about this season is that it was unpredictable. “Outwit, outplay and outlast” that happened to be the tag line of this season were the skills that were actually required of the contestants for winning the various tasks. It could be one reason why this season proved to be such a big hit. Women on the show definitely out-schemed and out-bitched the male competitors.

When everyone was asked to vote and when they were done with it, JT and Stephen’s began a long wait as the votes would be read in New York. That was really very difficult period for both the finalists because on one side it was fame, money and popularity and on the other there was nothing.
And then came the most awaited time of the whole season “The Finale”.
JT was looking different as he was cleaned up and shaved. Everything was set and then with some preliminary remarks by the host Jeff Probst, counting started.
First Vote- JT
Second Vote- “The Warrior” JT
Third Vote- JT
Fourth vote- JT

It was unanimous; the winner of the “Survivor Tocantins” was James “JT” Thomas JR. His face revealed his happiness and then he got a big hug from Stephen and then mom, dad, friends. Besides winning $ 1million prize money, he won an additional $100,000 from the Sprint Player of the Season contest.
Later, in an interview, JT said that he and Stephen would together put the prize money into investments. He also revealed that he would be going back to continue his cattle ranching.

Survivor’s Most Controversial Contestant Talks About ……

May 18, 2009 · Posted in survivor Episode, survivor tvshow · Comment

Hey friends! He was, undoubtedly, one of the most controversial contestants on Season 18 of the reality show Survivor, but the elimination of Benjamin “Coach” Wade, raised many eyebrows. Wade was known for his tall tales and interesting philosophy about life, but often rubbed the other contestants the wrong way. He surely was not one of the more popular guys amongst his fellow contestants, but despite that he made it to the final five of the current season.

However, he was finally eliminated, after he failed to win the Immunity Challenge. After his eviction, Wade talked about his experiences on the show, in an interview. Here are some excerpts from the same, as I sure you would like to know how Wade felt about Survivor as well as many other things.

Survivor tv show

Wade felt that Survivor exposed only a small part of his personality and his sensitive side remained hidden from the audiences. He further said that he had been through many life-and-death situations in his personal life and that is what has made him who he actually is. Wade said that although he was aware of the fact that people had tried to sensationalize the various aspects of his personality, they had been unsuccessful in touching the real Wade.

About his eviction from Survivor, Wade said that he had been prepared for it since the time his fellow castaway, Tyson had been eliminated. He became surer of his eviction after another contestant Debbie had to leave the Survivor. He added that during the Immunity Challenge, the actions of his fellow contestant, J.T. forced him to think that the other man wanted him to lose; however, he was happy that the game had ended in the way it did.

About his future, Wade said that he was sure that his participation in Survivor would open up new avenues for him. He added that although he was open to all good opportunities, he would like and pray to get a full-time job with the Susanville Symphony, where he is a conductor. Finally, he said that being on Survivor had helped him grow both personally and spiritually and he was happy about it.

Well, we really hope that Wade gets the job he wants and wish him all the best for the future!
